COMMERCIAL FLOORING

Flawless Foundations: Expert Flooring Preparation for a Perfect Finish

A 3mm screed layer provides a smooth, level surface for flooring, typically achieved with a self-levelling compound or a thin layer of traditional screed. It’s commonly used to correct minor surface imperfections or to create a suitable base for various floor coverings.

Purposes:

Levelling: 3mm screed is often used to level out minor imperfections in a concrete base or other substrates before installing flooring.
Creating a Smooth Surface: It provides a smooth, even surface that is suitable for a variety of floor coverings, including tiles, carpet, vinyl, and wood.
Protection: While thin, it can also offer some protection to the underlying substrate.

Plywood

6mm SP101 plywood is a high-quality, hardwood plywood specifically designed for flooring underlayment and precision joinery. It is known for its stability, high dimensional accuracy, and superior overlay quality, making it suitable for both domestic and commercial flooring projects. It meets the requirements of BS 8203 and is FSC® certified, indicating low emissions and responsible sourcing.
